Supervalu, the parent company of Shop 'n Save, confirmed Monday that the grocery store on Fairfax Pike in Stephens City VA will close March 3. No other store local store closings have been announced. Sales from SuperValu's wholesale operations are now approximately 75 percent of its total annual sales, up from approximately 44 percent only two years ago, the company said Wednesday in a news release.
